OUR CONGREGATION
Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church was incorporated on March 24, 1984. We are located at 125 Shiloh Road in Windsor, California.
Our mission is to provide a church home for orthodox Christian Lutheran education and worship for members and visitors. We welcome anyone who is interested in learning about God’s plan of forgiveness for sins, salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ alone. We believe and teach these truths based solely on the sound doctrines of the Holy Bible. We use a liturgical form of worship service.
We invite you to come, hear and learn about the good news of Jesus Christ, the only Savior of the world, who brings the “Peace of God which surpasses all understanding.” If you are unable to be with us in person, we invite you to read or listen to our sermons which are archived elsewhere in this website.
FELLOWSHIP
We are a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) located in Mankato, Minnesota. We are also in fellowship with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Together we form a worldwide body of conservative confessional Lutheran churches, with more than 1300 congregations in North America, as well as many countries throughout the world. Through our affiliations, we reach out to people of many languages and cultures. We actively support the mission work of feeding both body and soul through our resources, intercessory prayers and witnessing for Jesus Christ.
